About

Evelyn Rivera is a Solicitor at Stevens & Associates Lawyers, admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2022 and part of the team since 2024. Before moving into law, Evelyn worked in Research and Pathology (Histology), holding a Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours), and later completed a Juris Doctor at the University of Technology Sydney.

Evelyn focuses on employment law and discrimination law, having previously represented applicants at another employment law firm in adverse action (general protections) claims, unfair dismissals, and a broad range of discrimination matters including age, disability, racial, religious, sex, and family and parental discrimination, along with sexual harassment claims.

Fluent in Spanish, Evelyn is passionate about helping migrants and minority groups and is an avid supporter of women’s rights. Outside the office, she enjoys hiking and jogging, and has run the City2Surf every year since 2017, aside from the Covid period.
